Troop 321 Committee Meeting came to order at approximately 7:40 p.m., on Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at the F home.  Present were Dave H, Brian J, Bruce P, Bob F, Robin F, Mark H, Alicia F, Kristin H, Bill M and LuAnn M.  Dave H, Scoutmaster, led the meeting as follows:

Please note many events still need Assistant Scoutmasters/Leaders and/or parents.  Please contact Dave H if you are interested in filling one of the open events.  It would be unfortunate to have to cancel an event, because there are not enough adults to supervise.  When not enough leaders and/or parents are present, the events do not go as smoothly.

Committee Chairpersons reported as follows:

1.Committee Chair/Troop Treasurer:  

	a.Treasurer's Report: Bob F. reported the Troop finances were in order. 

	b.Dues: If you haven't already done so, please send your dues payment to Bob F., Troop Treasurer.

2.Troop Rules/Guidelines:  Kristin H. provided the Committee with a draft of the Troop Rules/Guidelines.  The Committee will finalize the Rules/Guidelines at the January Committee Meeting and have them published on the Troop website.

3.Popcorn Sales: Bruce P. reported a good turnout for popcorn sales.  Total sales were ~$6,400 with ~$2,500 going to our Troop. 

4.Bridging Webelos: Alicia F. will arrange a Troop/Webelos outing (possibly at Planet Granite) and invite all bridging Webelos from the San Carlos Cub Scout Troops.	

5.Eagle Scouts:

	A.Neil L - Eagle Court of Honor - January 4, 2008
	B.Sam W - Eagle Court of Honor - January 19, 2008

7.Transition:

	A.Scoutmaster: Scoutmaster Dave H. will be stepping down as Scoutmaster at the end of the 2007/2008 Scout season.  If you are interested in taking over his position, please contact Scoutmaster Dave to express your interest. 

	B.Treasurer: Bob F will be stepping down as Troop Treasurer at the end of the 2007/2008 Scout season.  If you have accounting, bookkeeping or banking skills, or if you are just plain ole good at math, please contact Scoutmaster Dave if you are interested in taking over this position.  

	C.Troop Committee Chair:  Bob F will be stepping down as Troop Committee Chair at the end of the 2007/2008 Scout season.  This job mainly consists of rechartering our Troop each year in December - not a time-consuming job; and attending Committee meetings (3rd Wednesday of each month - approximately 9X per year).  Committee usually meets at Troop Committee Chair's home.  If you are interested in this position, please contact Scoutmaster Dave.

REMINDER: SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE TO ANY SCOUT WHO FINDS ANY EVENT, WHETHER IT BE A CAMPING TRIP, BACKPACKING, SUMMER CAMP, ETC., FINANCIALLY DIFFICULT.  PLEASE CONTACT SCOUTMASTER, DAVE H., OR TREASURER/ COMMITTEE CHAIR, BOB F.

The next Committee Meeting will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. at the F home.
